Native to China, it’s a fast-growing, woody climber with lanceolate, leathery leaves, dark green above and lighter green underneath. Between spring and summer, it blooms with a myriad of starry white flowers clustered in terminal clusters; they emit a very strong scent that can be smelled from a distance. Very decorative, it’s used to cover walls, porches, pergolas, and slopes.
