Washingtonia (Palmae)

Robust
Native to Mexico, this palm has a narrower trunk than W. Filifera. It has a very small crown, disproportionate to the trunk, with rounded, bright green leaves. It produces few flowers and few fruits.

Native to California, it is a palm with a very large, broad stem and a bright brown color. Its enormous leaves form a very large, fan-shaped crown. Abundant white inflorescences hang from the leaves. Acclimatized to the Mediterranean, it tolerates
temperatures well below zero.
