Juniperus, Juniper (Cupressaceae)

Conifers found throughout the Northern Hemisphere. They are very hardy evergreens that adapt to any type of soil.
They have needle-like or scale-like leaves, they can be monoecious or dioecious and there are prostrate, ground cover and erect ones.
