Cordyline (Agavaceae)

Australis, dracaena undivided
Native to New Zealand and commonly classified as a palm, it is a vigorous growing plant that can exceed ten meters. It is an erect tree with one or more cylindrical trunks topped with long, linear, lanceolate, pale green leaves.
In autumn it produces large panicles containing creamy white, scented flowers.

Australis Red Star
Recently introduced, it has the same characteristics as Dracaena Indivisa, but with much slower growth, much less cold resistance and above all, stunning, bright dark red leaves.
