Phillyrea (Oleaceae)

Angustifolia
A Mediterranean plant, it is a densely branched, upright evergreen with glossy, dark green, lanceolate leaves. In spring, it produces highly fragrant greenish-white flowers, which in summer produce small, spherical, blackish-blue fruits. Highly salt-resistant, it is used for hedges and isolated patches of land along the seashore.
